[RE-wrenches] Outback Charge controller breakers (was Mixing Outback FM100 CC with Fm80 or 60.)

2022-01-25 Thread William Miller
Colleagues: Lones, thanks for being in the hot-seat on this and many other Outback related issues. I need to remind myself that I do not know what engineers and product managers have to go through to get products listed and comply with all of the attendant regulations. So when some application

Hi Mac, For what it’s worth, probably a good idea to make sure that the FN-DC is calibrated correctly as well. Best, -Chris On Tue, Jan 25, 2022 at 4:36 PM Mac Lewis wrote: > This is an off-grid site. It worked as programmed for about a month... > > I will certainly have a spare if I have to

So the issue ended up being , as far as we can tell at this point , a loose neutral connection at the first load distribution panel feeding all loads after the inverter. Jeremy Rodriguez Solar Installation / Design Expert All Solar, Inc. 1453 M St Penrose Colorado 81240 Sent by Jeremy's iPhone.

Thanks guys, Just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something. Curious that Schneider doesn’t have higher voltage input breakers. > On Jan 25, 2022, at 4:15 PM, Tump wrote: > > I use the SQD fused disco I mount this next to the CC and use the Flex cobra > wire for the low DC voltage and the

I use the SQD fused disco I mount this next to the CC and use the Flex cobra wire for the low DC voltage and the do have breakers for the context for that > On Jan 25, 2022, at 7:04 PM, Tom Duffy wrote: > > Hi Mike > > No breakers I know of that fit the Conext boxes but you could use a MidNite

Hi Mike No breakers I know of that fit the Conext boxes but you could use a MidNite Big Baby and a MidNite 600 volt breaker in it or even a touch safe 1000 volt fuse and holder they're DIN rail Tom Duffy Senior Solar Design Engineer Supply chain crunches brought on by the pandemic and Omicron'

Wrenches, Can anyone direct me to PV input breakers that are rated up to 600VDC that would work in a Conext Distribution Panel? From what I can tell, Schneider only offers breakers up to 160VDC. Thanks, Michael Michael Morningstar Morningstar Electric PO Box 1494

Sounds like programming still needs some tweaking, is this off grid or connected Jerry On Tue, Jan 25, 2022 at 4:42 AM Mac Lewis wrote: > Hello Wrenches, > > I have a recently installed Outback system, (Radian, FM100, Mate 3s) that > was humming along great for about a month but for some reason

Drake, I believe that is for a single phase 2 wire output only. I am assuming one hot and one neutral for the inverter output in this case. I would think most *grid tied* inverters fall under 705.95B, where the neutral is only a voltage sense and can be sized as small as the equipment ground. Cheer
