Yes, AC-coupling seems to be the best path. Thank you for responding. Scot From: RE-wrenches On Behalf Of Kirpal Khalsa via RE-wrenches Sent: Wednesday, May 22, 2024 9:28 AM To: RE-wrenches Cc: Kirpal Khalsa Subject: Re: [RE-wrenches] Will SolarEdge optimizers work with other string invert

You could always AC couple the SolarEdge system via the SolArk. Gives you optimization and rapid shutdown and access to that solar array even when the grid is down. Instead of using the StoreEdge - you could use one of the basic SolarEdge models which are cheaper. Sunny Regards, Kirpal Khalsa Ore

No, you need to replace the SolarEdge inverter to match with the existing optimizers. They will not work with Sol-Ark and vice versa. Tom McCalmont CEO, Paired Power pairedpower.com | LinkedIn (650) 701-7247 > On May 22

The Solaredge "Key" and "Safety & Monitoring Interface" have cut sheets dated 2014 and 2016 - so take their feasibility with a grain of salt - indicate that at some point SE optimized systems could be paired to third party inverters. Based on a quick read it looks like this technology requires opt
