More then two banks require fusing or breakers, its best on anything amount including one all to be located at or near the battery. Jerry On Dec 1, 2017 10:03 AM, "jay" wrote: > HI All, > > I’m wondering if anyone has a good source for battery buss bar stock. > Either pre made ones or stock I ca

JERRY: I always specify separate breakers per string (175A or 250A, depending on string ampacity) mounted as close to the battery bank as possible. And I require that if I am to be engaged for maintenance (planned or unplanned) after commissioning. Shunt-trip breakers facilitate meeting Rapid

Always as close to the batteries as practical, remember is does not have to be at the end, between any dattery in that string, as a safe precausion at the 24 volt point is nice at it will keep the peak voltage at 24 vs the bank of 48 if in open position. Jerry On Dec 3, 2017 5:10 PM, "jay" wrote:

Hey Jay, From my understanding the OCPD needs to be within 18 inches from the positive terminals... some will use class T fuses instead of breakers for cost... On Dec 3, 2017 7:10 PM, "jay" wrote: > So I”m curious about the location of your breakers. Can you elaborate > about that? > > Thank
