Hi Matt,
I recently asked an expert where arc flash would be an issue for PV
installers. The answer was: not much threat on DC side, because of
(relatively) low power, on the AC side, it's the 480V enclosures.

I was just at a conference discussing this exact topic.
As usual Solar, at least smaller systems in reality can't get to a arc flash
explosion potential, there just isn't enough watts there.
Now if you are talking about a megawatt system, thats a different story.
