Folks, Those of us doing work in California are familiar with the CSI program and it's 10 year warranty requirement.
1 - In order to obtain CSI EPPB I include the required warranty language in my contract with the original customer. Does California contracting law allow/require that this warranty extend to subsequent owners upon sale of the property? Is there anything explicit it the CSI Handbook that say whether or not the warranty is transfered? 2 - Is anyone aware of PG&E or the CEC stepping in to help enforce warranty claims on projects that received CSI funds? Any companies receiving "points" for not servicing the warranty? Any claw back of CSI funds on projects that don't meet projected yields due to unfulfilled warranty claims?
