Yes ac PV direct is off the shelf these days. But typically with 3phase pumps.
Tons of variables, how about some specifics as to depth, gpd required, gpm
requested, well production, pumped height, location for starters.

Thanks Jerry, that is what I would certainly suggest first, but I was just
curious if there is a way to drive an AC pump with just PV before I suggest
pulling the pump.

It all comes down to how deep the well is, and how much water you need
to pump. For lower head, lower flow rates, just go with the SQF line.
If you need more water, then start looking into the other options.

There are many options for this equipment now. If the well pump motor is
already installed, it may limit your options. If it hasn't, then there are
a lot of good solar pumps available. Grundfos SQ Flex is solid from our
experience.
There are also drives that can take high voltage sol
DC Directgrunfus sq flex they have depth, gmp and voltage options
