are doing component level replacement on pricey or even discontinued

I pulled the cover off a defunct SW in the shop to determine how this might be
done. It is doable if you know how to work on printed circuit boards.
There is an art and a science to this type of repair and if you mess up the
consequences are dire. I've had experience with PCB rework so I
