So, is using the DC rated soladeck a violation? When I mentioned the specific
AC rated soladeck to the company they said they talked to Soladeck and they
said the DC can be used for the AC pass thru. It seems to me we should use the
AC rated for this application and not the DC.

I should have mentioned I was looking at something that isn't intended to
penetrate the deck like Soladeck. I would be transitioning to conduit
running along a flat roof.
Soladeck makes specific models that are AC rated. Search the archives for a
recent discussion on that.

I mentioned this to the powers that be on the project (when I was hired,
all the materials were already on site...) to no avail.
As to your comment on AC combiners, we have soladeck (DC rating on the
cover) on site and will be using these. I'm not sure about using the
soladeck product on this typ
Other than cost, why not just buy an extra connector and cap it. It
provides a lot more flexibility in terms of locating your j-box. Or, you
can use the new Engage coupler to extend the Enphase cable with standard 4
conductor Type TC-ER cable (5 conductor for 3 phase).

feeding the individual 15 modules circuits. I am wondering about wiring the
J-Box. I need to cut all of the boxes into the center of the runs of
Engauge cable and maintain the 6" of free conductor. To do this, I will
