Jay we have used the Cummins machines and have been very happy, you will need a battery charger to maintain the SOC as the cpu has a 350 to 500 ma draw. Jerry On Mon, Apr 9, 2018, 10:15 AM David Katz wrote: > Check to see if it has a 120 vac requirement to float the

Hi all. This unit will be in a warm climate so no problems there. Are you all saying the build in AC/shore power charger is extremely inefficient? Jay > On Apr 9, 2018, at 1:46 PM, Michael Morningstar > wrote: > > Yes, the Cummins technician that commissions

Yes, the Cummins technician that commissions our generators insists that locations with consistent low’s below 15F require the coolant heater. All but two of my installs(outdoor) have omitted connecting the heater, and have seen some brief sub-0 temperatures but generally average mid-30s. One

They do have a battery charger that requires a 120V circuit, and it does draw more than one would like. I run a circuit over and install a tiny battery tender rather than use the factory charger. With a good starter battery and a weekly exercise cycle of thirty minutes, I have found that my

Jay, I’ve had really good luck with the Cummins RS22. In fact it’s the only propane generator I will use unless it’s for a small system, then I specify Honda ’s with a propane conversion from GenConnect. Half a dozen RS22’s with enclosures and maybe a dozen without, placed in buildings. No

HI All, I’ve got a new project wanting a 22-25kw single phase 120/240vac water cooled propane sound attenuated generator for an off grid situation. I’m not going to be With AGS activation. I”ve been looking at the Kohler 24 RCL ( meets all the above criteria) but I’m checking to see if I
