I was chatting with a sister today and her daughter was making this
recipe. She sent it on to me, as she said it was a fabulous dish. This
can be halved very easy and freezes well.
Ingredient
3 pounds Lean ground beef
2 teaspoons Salt

1 pound ground sausage
1 tablespoon butter
1/3 cup chopped onion

1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 cans sliced mushrooms, drained

4 apples
3/4 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup butter, cut into small pieces
Preheat oven to 400. Grease 8x8 pan. Peel and core apples. Slice thinly.
Spread in prepared pan. Mix flour, sugar, and cinnamon. Cut in butter.
Spread evenly over apples. Bake 40-45 minutes
