OVERNIGHT MACAROONS 

2 c. quick cooking oats
1/2 c. salad oil
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg, beaten
1/2 tsp. almond extract


Mix oats, brown sugar and salad oil. Let stand overnight. Next 
day mix all ingredients together; place by spoonful on a greased 
cookie sheet. Bake 15 minutes at 325 degrees. Remove from cookie 
sheet immediately to cool. Makes about 30 macaroons.
