> PEAR TART
> 1 large deep dish refrigerated pie crust
> 1/4 cup flour
> 1/3 cup sugar
> 4 cups ripe pears peeled and chopped
> 1 teaspoon pure vanilla
> 1/4 cup sliced almonds
> Let pie crust sit out for 20 minutes to soften.  Meanwhile combine
> remaining ingredients except almonds in a large bowl and stir.  Place
> pie crust on a greased baking sheet and gently unfold. Place pear
> mixture on piecrust leaving a 2-inch border.  Gently fold pie crust
> over pear mixture.  Sprinkle with almonds and bake 20 minutes at
> 450.  Allow cooling slightly before serving.
