This is the final message I will be sending prior to the rally tomorrow. The rally is at 12.30 tomorrow (Wednesday 1 March) in the square at the ACT Legislative Assembly. Alastair Crombie from the Reconciliation Committee for the Australian Capital Region will be MC. Speakers will include: Matilda House, Ngunnawal Local Aboriginal Land Council Kerrie Tucker, Legislative Assembly Jon Stanhope, ACT Legislative Assembly (All members of the Legislative Assembly have also been invited to attend and show their support for the rally.) Audrey Nginingali Kinnear, whose homelands are in Maralinga, SA, and Thorwald Lorenzen from the Council of Churches and Convener of the Journey of Healing Network. Do come along, bring your banners and placards, hear what is happening in the ACT so that we are no longer depicted on the international scene as a mean spirited nation which does not support the human rights of its own citizens.
