Are you using version 7.5? I could not reproduce the issue in 9 or 10.
Should others have similar problem and have access to the database, I
believe the information regarding which table and column contains the lock
value is available on the OpenText
Are you using one single text field for the whole page content or a
container and templates?

Thank you for your suggestion, actually the problem was with Project variant
configuration, so i have created new Project variant and now it is working
fine.
