Spoke to soon, figured it out.
1) create a css content class (or multiple content classes if you want
multiple stylesheets)
2) create an anchor element in your master page (use the "insert url
and path only" option)
3) create a new page off of this anchor element linking to your
stylesheet
4) voil
What is the best practice/most commonly used way to use stylesheets
inside of RedDot? Currently we are using a media element which is
linked to a physical file. This works fine, but it is a pain to upload
the stylesheet everytime we need to make a small change.

One problem josh,
The dropdown menu's no longer function on the internal pages. I assume
this is due to the nature of the query that is used to generate the
the "children" of the dropdown.

You need a knowledge base account to login.

Just to clarify, you mean "tagging" of articles with keywords? Like an
article about Michael Jordan would be tagged "basketball, NBA, Michael

I've figured out how to make a list with pages, and all that is
working fine. Now my issue is this:
Say I have 2 content classes, one is called Event and the other is
called Event Listing. The Event content class has all the placeholders
for information about the events, and the Event Listing cla
Hey everyone,
I'm working with the Standard Field - Date and it doesn't seem to be
entering the dates correctly. I have it in for the custom format of
"dd/MM/yy" (09/09/09 for example) and it does not output the dates
correctly.
For example, if I select today and choose it on the calendar, I get
A calendar or event list widget would be excellent!

Is there some sort of conditional that I can place in my template to
specify the title for each variant. Something like: (pseudo code):
if (projectVariant = "HTML") {
pageTitle = "This is a page title";
} elseif (projectVariant = "Printable") {
pageTitle = "This is a page title [prin
I'm coming into a new project, and they 2 project variants. The first
is an HTML (for displaying pages normally) and the second is a
"Printable" variant which displays the pages content only?
Where do I edit this template? I need to change the title of these
pages.
--~--~-~--~~---
Is there a way to dynamically pull in the page title's into the
attribute? I assume this would be done in the Content Class
that controls those pages?

Hello everyone,
I am very new to RedDot, and I'm trying to understand the correct
structure of how to setup a project. I'm trying to grasp the concept
of Content Classes, containers, templates, etc.

Just a precursor, I've read all of the other RSS Feed posts in this

First things first, I've created a Content Class name RSS Feed. It has
the basic XML structure for an RSS feed. The I understand that part.

I was just thinking about this the other day. I recently joined a
company that is using RedDot to manage a website we maintain. Just
digging through RedDot makes me sick, the way it handles things seems
very ineffective, especially for the kind of management we are doing
with the website. Seems to
