Here are my 2 cents concerning the vacation program I had on linux last august and how I solved it. 1) sendmail using a restricted shell you have to add explicitely the vacation program in that restricted shell: ln -s /usr/bin/vacation /etc/smrsh/ 2) the vacation program I used then was buggy
