Folks, I'm totally stuck. I don't understand what's going on.
I spent the whole day and a night trying to understand something,
rebuilding/downloading/etc/etc the glibc, gcc, binutils, with
no awail. A mystery.
What I have now is as follows.

Most redhat users tend to upgrade their system from older redhat to newer,
and moving gtom ext2 to ext3 is a snap which only takes couple of seconds...
Moving from ext2 to anything else besides ext3 is a PITA, and redhat has the
tradition not to support anything rather ex
Are redhat going to include other journal files systems in its rawhide kernel, like
SGI's XFS
or IBM's JFS? Redhat's kernel tend to be better than a vanila kernel.
