I heard 2.4.18 vanilla kernel should only be applied kdb patch. It seems the patch from oss.sgi.com/projects/kdb is not working. Could anybody suggest an alternative location

I updated my kernel via rhn with no problem. Also, if you
use grub, the kernel upgrade is soo easy.
