Could anybody suggest a custom library or wrapper around the
cumbersome X11 library functions for the above purpose?
Regards,
Steve Fernandez.

But windoze shows drive E (/dev/hda6) as having only 1.85GB

Hi Guys,
I compiled kernel 2.4.2 and installed it. Everything works fine, but
I cannot connect to the Internet. The pppd daemon dies with exit code=1
just after it starts. What can be the problem? My older kernel(2.2.16)
has no problem.
With regards,
Steve Fernandez.

Hi!!!
I'm a newcomer as far as Linux is concerned. Whenever I halt the
system, the recovery thread gets woken up by mdrecoveryd. Is this normal, or
can somebody help me prevent it?
Thank you.
Steve Fernandez.
