Have a Linux box on RH 6.2 running postfix. Postfix freezes every now and
then and we are forced to restart the inet service or sometimes the postfix
service... I checked up /var/log /message and have attached the contents
below ( well only a part ) . we do have a modem connected to the
did'nt know where to go for detailed instruction's for setting up an email
server on RH 7 ( using qmail )
newbie on qmail -- info on the web not good ... also need info on how an
email server works

booting into ' init 5 ' starts an x session but fails to start
any window managers. but boot into init 3 -- startx from the console works
fine.. where did i go wrong how do i fix this proble with init 5
