Hi Experts, I have a question regarding the Redhat 7.1 installation. I am trying to install 7.1 on Compaq Proliant DL 580. I chose "custom installation" and installed everything. But I could not find the module of HBA driver called "cpqfc" after installation. Without this module, I could not able to access external storage.
I can see some source code files related to cpqfc under /usr/src/linux-2.4.3. But even if I use make xconfig to select "Compaq HBA driver" in SCSI support and rebuild the kernel. I was not able to create cpqfc.o. Also in the README file of cpqfcTS code, it is asking to apply the cpqfcPS patch first, but I could not find that patch in the installation CDs. If someone have configured DL580 with external storage could you please let me know what is the correct process to configure that "cpqfc" module?
