Once I log in through GDM, my numlock no longer works. meaning the light
is off and doesn't change by pressing the numlock key, yet pressing the
numpad keys produces numbers, i.e. the numlock is permanently on. This
behaviour starts as soon as I login with GDM. Before I log in, it works
fine. I can get the numlock to work again, after having logged into X
with GDM, by changing the keyboard mapping with setxkbmap(1) or System
Settings|Keyboard. Then the numlock will work until I log out of X and
back in again. The broken numlock has the effect that I can't switch to a
console with ctrl-alt-f1 for example. It just doesn't work, until I fix
the numlock with setxkbmap(1), that is. My keyboard is a Danish keyboard
with 113 keys in all, including 2 Windows start menu keys, 1 Windows
context-menu key and a wake-up, sleep and power key, respectively.

I just want to check here on the mailing list before I report it to
bugzilla.redhat.com.

Any hints appreciated,
- Daniel
