I'm about to scream trying to figure out where the login environment is setup in RH. I'm running /bin/tcsh and I put: set path = ( /usr/local/bin /usr/local/apache/bin $path) in my .cshrc, like I can do on BSD but I get: path (/usr/local/sbin /usr/sbin /sbin /usr/local/sbin /usr/sbin /sbin /usr/local/sbin /usr/local/bin /sbin /bin /usr/sbin /usr/bin /usr/X11R6/bin /root/bin /root/bin) for a path. It would be really helpful if somebody could point me to a roadmap of the login process on RH including where the environment is setup and how to customize it. man [t]csh does not seem to be complete and I haven't been able to locate this info by googling. I'm also curious where things like LS_COLORS are set (so I can UNSET them -- ugh that's an annoying feature!) thanks in advance, -- Joseph F.
