I have never had this happen. It should have a timeout on all dialogs at
bootup (located in the lower right corner of the dialog) that will continue

Yes it does have a non-graphical interface that is identical to the
graphical interface. It also has a browser interface. The latest version
can be found at crusher.centralva.net/pub/linuxconf/. Check it out, it is a
great software package.

I need to find out how to boot from floppy and at boot: boot to a filesystem
(linux) on /dev/hdc with lilo on root partition of hdc and setup as follows:
/dev/hdc1 = /
/dev/hdc2 = /swap
/dev/hdc3 = /home
/dev/hdc4 = /usr
I looked at ldp and how-to's and couldn't find the answer I was looking for
I have a machine running NT and 95 on hda and a cdrom on hdb. I installed
Linux
on hdc and tried using lilo. It did not work. I then tried us nt bootloader
and adding
a line to the boot.ini but I apparently did not get all of the parameters in
correctly.

Download the ppp-howto. Basically your carrier is starting the ppp
interface (garbled text) and what you need to do is start pppd to
accept this information. If you read the ppp-howto and don't get
it or want to try another way try downloading ezppp or xisp and
