I use Earthlink and with my LInux Connection it works pretty fine. I leave
my connection for hours without being disconnected =)

I heard that you should use an old MS-DOS terminal and try to use it. if
the modem works under DOS then it shouldnt be a WINMODEM. I havent really

Hi! I was wondering if anyone could help me. I rebooted my computer and I
couldnt get out of the booting process. I always get stuck in the "Starting
sendmail" part, where its supposed to say if it "PASSED" or "FAILED". I
dont know what to do. I cant get into linux. I can using my rescue dis
at least 1 Gig. =)
Just start researching and reading up on Linux and you'll do fine. This
mail-list is the best! Try to follow the posts. I have learned a lot from it.

these messages which I am not sure if it is an error or something that
