Try setting all of your environment variables first:
I think the one that is giving you problems is the JAVA_HOME one
Just do:
export JAVA_HOME=/usr/java/j2sdk-1.4.1_02 (your path will not be exacly that
but just have a look at where your java is installed )
Then try again. You will want to set
To get memory do this:
cat /proc/meminfo
dmesg reads the kernel log buffer

Download and rpm in 1.4.1
Works great.

There is a fair bit of prep work to get Oracle to install and run reliably on
RedHat 7.3
Read the Oracle install guide for this. There are kernel tuning parts, user
additions, path additions, and requirements listed that make it much easier.
It does work very well if you install following Oracle
Hi,
port 25 (SMTP) (TCP) is all you need to allow for sendmail

I have done alot of research and testing on this and there is pretty much only 1
way to go. Spamassassin for spam and Amavis. There are good how to's for
setting it up. I would stay away from the newest spamassassin though. I still
use 2.43. It is stable and does not peg my CPU's too often. I
I still really like Sendmail. There may be faster MTA's, but sendmail is very
easy to setup, virtual host, and spam filter.
As far as performance, I have Sendmail transfering over 13 million messages
every month with no issues.
If you need any help, shoot me off an email.

They changed to policy on this yesterday. The 2 major number versions now comes
from Advanced server numbering. As this is much slower, your RHCE will last
alot longer.
