HP Pavilion ZE 5000 series
I just got one of these wonderful machines, the first thing I did was wide
XP try to load Linux. I guess I should have doen my homework. Please
tell me someone has found a fix for this
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Well I found something that may help, I though I would add it to this list.
The problems where solved with the kernel boot parameter: 'idebus=66'.
I started the redhat installation with:
'expert text linux idebus=66', and later in the installation phase I added
'idebus=66' as the boot
