Hi,
In the redahat linux 8.0, the cb_enabler.c file is not there in
/usr/src/linux2.4/drivers/pcmcia. Actually, it is the interface between
the cardbus card
services and socket services.
Do anyone know whether the functionality has been moved to some other
file.

I have installed the pcmcia-cs3.1.31 sources from linux 8.0 source
CDs.
I have compiled the kernel without PCMCIA support as told in the
readme-2.4 of pcmcia-cs source tree. Then I compiled the pcmcia-cs tree
and do a 'make install'.
This I have to do to get cb_enabler.o file in /lib/modul

Whenever I installed my driver in redhat linux 8.0, it is saying the
software doesn't have GPL license.Installing the driver will taint the
kernel.
For making the driver GPL license compatible, did i have to make any
change in the driver codeI mean any macro kind of thing.

64 bit architecture... or where can I find relevant information.
