I am new to Linux and just have RH Linux 8.0
installed on my PC, dual bootable with Windows XP using GRUB.
When Linux booted, a message say "There is
difference between boot sector and its backup". Does any one
see this problem? How can I do manual backup to
solve it?
Also on this dual-boot PC, the date/time is not
synchronized. For example, if booted into Windows, date/time
shows Oct. 27, 9:00pm; reboot into Linux, date/time
shows Oct. 27, 1:00pm. Changed Linux date/time to Oct.27
9:00pm then reboot into Windows, date/time was
changed to 5:00pm. If Windows date/time is changed back to
it original Oct. 27, 9:00pm, Linux date/time will
also be changed back to its original Oct. 27, 1:00pm. What's
happened?
