Localhost Login

done to bring on this problem and how can I fix it? If I log in as root with my password and run startx, it all comes up, but I would like to get back to where I was before network configuration. I am using the Redhat Linux 7.2 Buble but cannot find any information on this matter. Regards Robert

Installing Oracle 8i for Linux
