Practically you can achieve this by adding following line to your
rc.firewall script:
extip="`/sbin/ifconfig ppp0 | gr
Is g++ 2.8 needed together with gcc 2.8.1? How about libstdc++ 2.8,
now that gcc includes g++?

After I transferred some text files from DOS to Linux, I discovered
that there is a or ^M after each line. How do I remove those

Hi,
Does anyone know how to copy output from the xterm screen to a
buffer so that it can be transferred onto an editor? Suppose I
compile a program and that produces comments from the compiler. How
do I save that to a copy buffer?

I used lpr to print a dvi file, but while the printer was printing,
I switched the printer off and then shut down the Linux. Thereafter,
every time I reboot again, the printer would insist on printing that
dvi file. However, all I get was garbage letters. Page after page. I
