HI
I have a script which shout be execute as root, from a normal user shell, with
nomal user permissions, without asking for root password.
Is there any solution?

i have a problem, after a unceanly shutdown, when the message comes that if i
want to force a check on my disc i should press Y. Nomaly it should count
from 5 to 0 an boot normally, but the system hangs up at second 5 . After
that I have to powerdown.
Can anyone help me, how to fix it?

one little question:
where can i edit to bootup sequence on a rh 9, i have made an new script in
/etc/rc.d/init.d/ and i whan that it will be execute befor checking for new
hardware.

when i try to mount a lokal ext3 partition i get following error.

sometime after closing my audioprogram(xmms or realplay or mpg123,...) I get
following error
audio: Device or resource busy(from mpg123)
but no programm open which is useing the device.
what can i do to release the device?

I have a software raid1 (two 40GB ide) on one ide bus running under rh9, and
sometimes one of them breaks down, but /dev/md0 is still working. after
restarting raid, all is working normal. And no damage on one of both discs
Can anyone tell me why it is?
