Can someone explain to me where the linker (ld) is in the gcc-2.95 package.
I had ld with 2.81. Ideas? Is it now part of a separate package?

SCSI hard drives, for instance, can almost always be low-level formatted. This
is the reason that companies like Adaptec, for example have a utility on the
board BIOS to accomplish exactly this.

Say what? Linux is available for PPC, SPARC, Sparc 64, PA RISC, MIPS, and ARM
"RISC" chipsets at a minimum already! Redhat is available for both the PPC and
SPARC RISC chipsets for certain. Is not the SGI Indy a MIPS chipset? Dunno..
