where has the menu editor gone in Red Hat 8? is there another way to
add/edit menu items for KDE/Gnome?

I recently upgraded to Red Hat 8. gnome-pilot has stopped syncing files
-- it goes up to identifying the user then cleans up before syncing the
desktop and the palmIIIxe. it is supposed to sync according to conduit
settings but i can't find the facility to set conduit settings. help,
please.

recently. I just wonder if RH has Role Based Access Control function like in
Solaris? It is basically a utilty to allow one define various role in a system.
For example I can define primary administrator (pa) or operator where pa is some

- I have RH 7.1. Uses xinetd.
- I can telnet locally on linux.
- I can ping linux from Win98.
- I previously had a blank /etc/hosts.allow. I
inserted the following line but still had same
problem:
ALL: 10.0.0.20/255.255.255.0 : ALLOW
What else can I check?
