Anyone know of a script for redhat like debian's localepurge,
http://packages.debian.org/unstable/admin/localepurge.html,
that can be used to "to recover diskspace wasted for unneeded
locale files and localized man pages"?

I've got a friend whose English is not so great and he's getting SegFault
errors when trying to use up2date. He had it working fine under 7.1, but
the SegFaults started on 7.2.
What questions should i ask him in order to provide enough info to get
more help from
