Any other hints ?
I've trying things but it keeps giving me the error. The only way for not
getting this prompt error, is to comment the line at the boot file.
Thanks,
Ramon.

Try using SAMBA. With NT and sp3 you may have some authentication
problems, but you can either configure samba to accept encrypted passwords
or set NT to send plain passwords.

Add the domain you want to use your smtp to your /etc/mail/relay_allow
file. eg. if your isp is spamnet.com just add that to the file.

Don't buy the Adaptec AIC-7890 Adapters. They don't work. I have a board
with the AIC-7860, AIC-7890 and I have not been able to get the 7890 to
work. If anyone has any suggestions please send them my way.

There are two ways to fix this. 1) Enable your WinNT machines to send
plain text passwords, 2) Enable samba to accept encrypted passwords. I
would recommend the latter. See:

Greetings,
I use secure shell(ssh) to move around between various linux/unix
machines. I am looking for something like this for all of my windows/mac
machines. That is, communication from windows (Win95, NT, Win3.x, Mac) to
my unix servers.

Hello,
I have been to the redhat site and found no documentation on my particular
SCSI adapters.
I have a DELL machine with:
(on-board) Adaptec AIC-7890 Ultra2/LVD
(on-board) Adaptec AIC-7860 Ultra/Narrow
Does anyone use these or know if they will work with RedHat?
Thanks,

If you are using NT with Service Pack 3 you will need to edit the registry
before you can use a samba connection.
If this is the case email me and I will give you the fix.

Greetings,
I want to move my harddrive running RedHat5.0 from a 486/33 w/ 16MB RAM to
another machine 486/100 w/40MB RAM. Do I need to re-install redhat in
order to do this or can I just transfer the harddrive over to the new
machine?
Thanks,

We use Groupwise WEBACCESS here at work to read our groupwise mail over
the internet. In this case all you need is a browser to read your GW mail.
There is SMTP and POP for Groupwise which are separate and are probably
your best bet.
