I am trying to connect to my ISP. I am able to dial out and connect but I
get disconnected immediately. The one thing I've noticed is that the lo
device will not activate. When I try to activate it in netcfg nothing
happens. If I try to edit the device I get the following message: "The
loopback device may not be changed". Don't know if this is normal or not.
I have tried reinstalling Red Hat 5.0 thinking the problem might have been
in the install but lo remains the same. Any help will be appreciated.
