I've read the redhat faq about this issue but I'm stil a bit confused. I have a QDI motherboard (Intel tx chipset) with a dual ultra DMA 3 Eide controller and a new maxtor 4.3 gb ultra DMA 3 HDD. The HDD is patitioned as follows c:\ - 3.0 gb NTFS d:\ 1.2 GB Fat16. Mys stem boots off the root 3.
