I'm trying to get RH to recognize a USB keyboard and mouse through a KVM switch from IOgear but I'm having no luck. Looking for any suggestions.
What I've tried/enviorment: The switch is handling a Mac and W2K box fine. The monitor signal is coming through fine, just the keyboard and mouse are being dropped. Interestingly, the keyboard works up through GRUB, but after I pick my boot option and RH loads I loose the USB keyboard and mouse. I checked the BIOS a million times and I'm set for USB legacy devices there. I've hooked the USB mouse and keyboard to the box directly and used Kadzu (sp?) to intall USB drivers and both work fine. The keyboard and mouse also work fine with the Mac and W2K boxes. I've even hooked the keyboard and mouse up to the box through a USB hub (not the switch) and everything worked fine I've called the KVM manufacturer and well...they claim they should work with 7.2 but they "can't figure this one out." I've given up on IOgear but that's another story.
