Does anyone have a HP netraid 1si or 3si running with Redhat 7.2 or 7.3
(ie: kernel 2.4)?
Any advice on how to get it working if you do?
Thanks in advance.

You are an ISP, you are bringing a new email server online and will use
Postfix. Would you
go with 7.2 or 7.3? I have been testing both on IBM Netfinity servers and
seem to get better
performance from 7.2, but I also might need to tune it a little. Is it me
or is 7.2 more stable

I'm running a database server (MySQL) with quite a few connections:
[root@ irq]# ps ax | grep mysqld | wc -l
67
[root@ irq]#
I suspect the kernel spends a good deal of time in context switches.
There's also some SCSI ac

Alex, thanks! I've tried 7.3 and it still doesn't support the 845G chipset
yet.

Any timeframe on when we'll see support for this latest chipset from Intel?
I have a bunch of servers using the Asus p4b533-VM motherboard, and I am
getting all sorts of PCI bridge errors, and PCI IDE errors and BAD
performance (around 2.8Mbs), can't set DMA mode, etc.
