This may be a bit off-topic for this list, but I've recently picked up an ATI All-In-Wonder VE, and it works just great, aside from a few issues.
1) From the minute the bttv module is loaded, sound begins to play from the tuner through my sound card. I can mute 'line-in', but I figure there *must* be a better way? 2) While using xawtv (and possibly other apps) all the stations seem to be 'one off'. For instance, I need to tune to channel 56 to see channel 55. This is really a major issue for me, as I would like to use MythTV to auto-record TV shows (and would rather record the shows I want). I'm using RedHat 8.0 (stock RH kernel). Any suggestions would be great. RH seems to find the card just fine. # grep bttv /var/log/messages Dec 27 18:25:51 hamlet kernel: bttv: driver version 0.7.91 loaded Dec 27 18:25:51 hamlet kernel: bttv: using 2 buffers with 2080k (4160k total) for capture Dec 27 18:25:51 hamlet kernel: bttv: Host bridge is Acer Laboratories Inc.
