Hello all,  
  
I hope this is the right question for this mailing list.  I just upgraded from 
7.2 to 9 and now apache has to be upgraded.  I found a bunch of file under 
under /var/spool/up2date for apache (see the list below).   
 
But I'm not sure what to do with those files (new to Linux) so I decided to 
download the apache files from the site then install it doing: 
        ./configure, make, make install 
 
Will I get into trouble if I do that?  Will there be a conflict as far as 
apache version is concerned?  Please note the stuff under /var/spool/up2date 
is a different version.    
 
One last note, currently I cannot bring up my apache.  It's broken.  I found 
the instructions for migration.  After reading the instructions a few times 
I'm still not sure what I'm supposed to do.  Hence I decided to do what I am 
comfortable to do, to download from the site and then install.
