Just curious before I get on bugzilla or something bout the beta red Hat...
Has anyone else sucessfully used WVDIAL to dial up their ISP? I try and It
logs me in, notices the PPP handshaking then last message is "enabling PPP"
or whatever that message is..
With 7.0 I recall getting some IP and DNS information popping up letting you
know what they are.
These do not come up and if I try to Ping the ISP
the PING freezes until I do a ^c. A ping to the localhost works fine
however.
Is this a known problem, or did I just not setup something right?
It is on a stock install...
AGain, This is the beta but I figured I could get WVDIAL up and running, do
an up2date and be set while I do that.
the 7.0.9 beta running 2.4 seems a little faster on my machine then 7.0 with
2.2.
