Hello all.... I wanted to apologize for having made so many inquiries to you all regarding my CDROM CDRW problems. I think maybe I outstayed my welcome regarding this issue, as no one has replied for a time.
I am able to access these drives with Gnome so I will get by until I stumble upon an answer for KDE.
