First you have to memories what you have done.
second if you are stuck in the installation stage no [ next ] no [ prev ]
Reboot and start all over again. If you need pull out the plug.
I faced these things with my IBM 166 - 82 ram.
It will not spoil any thing if you have win 98 on other part.

All what you have said is correct I have installed R.H 6.2 on my Ibm Machine
Dual boot With win 98 for 8 times .
Best thing to have a swap partition nearly equal to your ram
then boot partition of 16 or 20 meg will do
the rest can be left for root partition [ grow to fill ].

ok, i think you were on the right track, you just made a few typos...
first off, you're right, you do need 3 partitions. you called them:
\boot
\root
\swap
but they >should< be named (in corresponding order to the names above):
/boot
/
(swap partitions don't have a name, err, mount point rather)
I really don't have any idea of wat's gone wrong with the partitioning with
disk druid. But something i want to tell u more is that, the mountpoint for
the windows partitions is 'not set'. Is there any problem to leave it 'not
set'?

No, '/' and '/root' are two different things entirely.
As far as using fdisk, you're probably better off staying with
DiskDruid. Fdisk will not help you resolve the problem you're currently
having.

Well, Chris thanks for your help. As u know i'm just too new to linux.(
those terms \ or \root or whatever are too new to me). So u've suggest me to
use fdisk, is it easy to use? I have heard that fdisk is a bit hard to use.
Well once again thank you.

Weo, you seemed to have forgotten the '/' partition. Add that and you
should be good to go.
Also, in *nix, directories are referred to as /root, /usr, /boot, etc.

i dunno whats up with diskdruid. when i got to that step, it wasn't a matter
of not being able to hit the next button for me, it was a matter of diskdruid
not letting me make partitions. so i just used fdisk.
ahh, try this...
