Hello All,

I just received a brand new Dell Inspiron 8200 that has a True Mobile
1180 Internal 802.11b Mini-PCI card which is actually a Broadcom card
(http://www.broadcom.com/products/94301.html)

I have installed Red Hat 8.0 and it found the built in Ethernet NIC with
out a problem and that works fine. It did not recognize the wireless
card so I thought I would go and add it using the System Settings ->
Network and tried adding the wireless card. I tried the only Broadcom
card that was available. That did not work. I double checked all my
settings and for testing purpose disabled WEP on my AP. It still did not
work.

Since that did not work the next thing I thought of was to see exactly
what type of card it is and ran lspci to find out the hardware I had.
Here is my results

Upon seeing the last line that about the Brodcom Network Controller that
is unknown I figured I would try goggle and come up with nothing. So I
am asking the list does any one know where some drivers are or if there
are plans for any in the coming future ?

Thanks in advance.
