Can someone please tell me how to get past the GRUB (grub) prompt.

I just installed RH 7.2 and I selected Grub and the boot loader, I have
never used Grub before and am stuck at a grub prompt when I turn the pc on.
How do I load Linux and get to a command shell as a user or as root.
