Why? What did the screen do or what happened
when you tried to install it?
Did the install go right?
Did it boot up right?
What all did you see?

Well I found something that may help, I though I would add it to this list.
The problems where solved with the kernel boot parameter: 'idebus=66'.
I started the redhat installation with:
'expert text linux idebus=66', and later in the installation phase I added
'idebus=66' as the boot paramete
