Hi, I was wondering if server administrator software would do the following? Also if the below is all I need to do on a web server, would a server administrator software package be sufficient or do I really need to know Linux and Apache prior to setting up a server for multiple web/e-commerce sites? I already know well my e-commerce software, just starting out on Apache and Linux.
Set up e-mail accounts for each domain name on a server FTP accounts for individual users/domains Set up web sites with IP Ailasing ( multiple domains which point to server IP) Set up web sites with domain names having their own IP addresses Set up bandwidth limits for each domain and entire server Monitor server and individual web site/domain bandwidth Create cgi-bin for each domain name/web site Configure server for cgi scripts including perl and php for individual sites Create RSA Keys for Thawte Certificates and be able to install and maintain certificates?
