Because of a problem with a Dell PowerEdge 1650 and RedHat 7.2, I must use the Dell support CDs to get the RedHat CDs to boot. Unfortunately, the Dell CDs have their own kickstart file, that installs everything, whereas I really just want:
@ X Window System @ GNOME @ Network Support @ Web Server @ Network Managed Workstation So: 1. Does anyone have a boot.img for RedHat 7.2 that will recognize the PERC 3/Di card? -or- 2. If I remove any/all of the packages below, will I lose any of the options (the @ packages above) that I want (sorry for the extensive list, I already tried running it, and I guess I need cpp for X): alchemist anonftp arts audiofile aumix autorun awesfx bind bindconf caching-nameserver cdda2wav cdlabelgen cdp cdparanoia cdrecord cleanfeed cpp dump efax emacs emacs-nox emacs-X11 esound exmh fam fetchmail finger-server firewall-config giftrans gimp gmp gnome-lokkit gphoto gsm htdig htmlview ical ImageMagick inn iptables-ipv6 isdn4k-utils kdeaddons-kate kdeaddons-kicker kdeaddons-konqueror kdeaddons-noatun kdeadmin kdeartwork kdeartwork-locolor kdebase kdebindings kdebindings-kmozilla kdegraphics kdelibs kdelibs-sound kdemultimedia kdenetwork kdenetwork-ppp kdepim kdeutils kernel-source koffice kpppload libao libodbc++ libogg libvorbis libxml2 libxslt licq licq-kde links lm_sensors lockdev lrzsz lv m4 make metamail mikmod minicom mkisofs mozilla mozilla-mail mozilla-psm mpg321 mtr mtr-gtk mutt netpbm netpbm-progs netscape-common netscape-communicator nfs-utils nmh openssh-server pax perl perl-DBD-Pg perl-DBI php-imap php-pgsql pilot-link pinfo playmidi postgresql postgresql-devel postgresql-libs postgresql-server ppp procinfo python rarpd rmt rp3 rp-pppoe rsh-server rusers-server rwall-server samba samba-client samba-common sane-backends sane-frontends screen SDL SDL_image SDL_mixer SDL_net smpeg sndconfig sox stat statserial sudo switchdesk-kde symlinks sysstat talk-server tamago tcl timidity++ tree units unixODBC usbview vnc vnc-server vorbis wvdial x86-compat-libs xawtv xdelta xisdnload xmms xpdf xsane ypserv -- redhat-list mailing list unsubscribe mailto:redhat-list-request@;redhat.com?subject=unsubscribe https://listman.redhat.com/mailman/listinfo/redhat-list
